          By his Excellency George Walton Esquire Captain General Governor and Commander in Chief in and over the said State: To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting! Know ye that in pursuance of the act for opening the Land Office and by virtue of the

powers in me vested, I have by and with the advice of the Honorable Executive Committee, Given and Granted and by these presents do give and Grant unto Martin Palmer Lamar [Palmer was written above Lamar] his Heirs and Assigns forever all that Tract or parcel of Land, Containing Five hundred acres, Situate lying and being in the County of Glynn in the said State butting and bounding; East by Major West’s land and on all other sides by vacant Land having such shape, form, and marks as appears by a plat of the same hereunto [illegible word]. Together with all and singular the Rights, Members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract or parcel of Land belonging or in anywise appertaining and also all the Estate, Right, Title, Interest, Claim and Demand of the State aforesaid of into or out of the same. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land and all and singular the premises aforesaid, with these and every of their Rights, Members and appurtenances unto the said Martin Palmer Lamar, his Heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use and behoof forever in fee Simple!
          Given under my hand and Council and the Great Seal of the Said State This Nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and eighty nine, and in the thirteenth year of American Independence.

Butting and Bounding East by Salt Marshes of Turtle River South East by M. Palmer Land: Southwest by vacant Land and Northwest by an old Survey, having such Shape, Form and Marks as appear by a plat of this same hereunto annexed. Together with all and singular the Rights Members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said tract of land belonging or in anywise appertaining and also all the estate, Right, Title, Interest, Claim and demand of the State aforesaid of in, to or out of the same to have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of Land and all and singular the premises aforesaid, and every of the Rights, Members, and appurtenances, unto the said Martin Palmer, his Heirs and assigns, to his and their own proper use and behoof forever in fee simple.
          Given under my hand in Council and the Great Seal of the said State this nineteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and eighty nine and in the thirteenth year of American Independence

Glynn County      }      Known all men by these presents that I Martin Palmer of the Town of Brunswick County and State aforesaid, Gentleman, for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and thrity five dollars to me in hand paid by John Parramore Have granted Bargained Sold and Released and by these presents Do Grant Bargain Sell and Release unto the said John Parramore, a Lot of Land in the said Town of Brunswick known by the number Seventy Six, Measuring in Width ninety feet (more or less) and in depth one hundred and eighty feet (more or less). Reference being had to the General plan of the said Town will more freely, Clearly, and at Large appear.
          To have and to hold Together with all and Singular the Rights, Members, Hereditaments and Appurtenances to the said premises belonging or in anywise appertaining, To have and To hold all and Singular the premises before mentioned unto the said John Parramore his Heirs and Assigns forever and I do hereby bind

Lands In Georgia
          6,500 acres on Big Cumberland Island, 700 acres Land on an Island in the Alatamaha [sic], 500 acres High Lands near the last mentioned Tract, 1,500 partly oak and Hickory, partly pine Land on the Alatamaha, 500 acres marsh Land on Savannah River, 1600 acres Land near Louisville, 1300 acres Land on Skidaway.
          Whereas I stand Indebted unto Miss Esther Lynch in divers sums of Money, for Money to and paid for me and she is my Security in and for Sundry debts, due by me to different persons.
          Know all men that I have agreed to Mortgage and have hereby mortgaged and by these presents do mortgage unto the said Esther Lynch, all and singular the above tracts of Land. IN order to Secure payment of the said debts due unto her and to indemnify and Counter[?] and to Secure her against the Said debts for which she is my Security as aforesaid and for that purpose do Grant, Bargain and Sell and Release unto her the said Lands. To have and to hold to her, Her Heirs and Assigns, Subject to the Promise of my paying to her the said debts due to her and indemnifying her as aforesaid and to my Equity at Redemption and I do promise and Covenant to and with her, her Heirs and assigns upon demand to Execute any more formal writing that may be advised as more effectual for the above intents and purposes. Witness my hand and Seal this 21st November 1798
