In witness whereof I have

This Indenture made this 17 day of October 1884 between James K.P.
Keaton and Neptune Small both of the County aforesaid.
Witnesses that the said James K.P. Keaton for and in consideration
of the sum of One hundred and two Dollars ($102.00) the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, does hereby sell and convey unto the said Neptune
Small his heirs and assigns a certain tract of land, situated upon the
South end of St. Simons Island and in the County aforesaid, to wit:
Bounded on the North by lands of ------- on the East by the Estate of
Alec Galling on the South and West by land of James K.P. Keaton
containing Eight and One quarter acres more or less together with all the
rights and privileges thereunto belonging in fee simple. And the said
James K.P. Keaton, his heirs, executors and administrators, the title
to the premises aforesaid, will forever warrant and defend to the said
Neptune Small his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims of all
other persons. In witness whereof the said James K.P. Keaton has
hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year aforesaid.

Know all men by these presents that I Caroline G. Couper of the
County and State aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of two
hundred and forty Dollars to me in hand, paid by Aleck Gallery of
the aforesaid County and State, at or before the sealing and delivery of
these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted,
bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, grant and sell unto
the said Aleck Gallery his heirs executors administrators and
assigns all that tract or parcel of land containing Twelve acres situated
lying and being in the County of Glynn in the said State, butting and
bounding North by Molley Fahm & Sanders White land East by
public road to light house South by McWilliams land and West by
Neptune Small and Molley Fahm lands, as will more fully appear
by annexed plat, together with all and singular the rights, members and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining and all the
rights, title interest, inheritance, benefit, claim or demands whatsoever,
either at Law or Equity of the said Caroline G. Couper of her claim
of the before mentioned tract of land.
To have and to hold the
said tract of land and all and singular the premises herein before
mentioned and intended to be hereby bargained and sold and every part and
parcel thereof unto the said Aleck Gallery his heirs and assigns to
the only proper use and behoof of the said Aleck Gallery his heirs
and assigns forever, and the said Carolina G. Couper for herself
and her heirs executors and administrators doth covenant and agree to and
with the said Aleck Gallery his heirs executors administrators and
assigns that the said Caroline G. Couper her claim of the said
tract of land and appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof unto the
said Aleck Gallery his executors administrators and assigns, shall
an will warrant and defend forever by these presents against all claims
and demands of any person or persons whatsoever.
In witness whereof the
said Caroline G. Couper have hereunto set my hand and seal this
18th day of April 1885.
