State of Georgia county of Glynn.
This Indenture, made and entered into on this the 13th
day of September, in the year of our lord 1906, by and between Chas. J.
Anderson, of the City of Brunswick and said state and county, as party
of the first part, and A.R. Berrie, of said state and County, as
party of the second part.
Witnesseth, that the said party of the first party for
and in consideration of the sum of nine hundred dollars ($900.00) cash to
him in hand paid by the party of the second part; at and before the
signing, sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledged, have bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these
presents doth, bargain, sell and convey, unto the said party of the second
part, his heirs and assigns the following real property,
All of that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying
and being in said state and County, and being on the Island of Blythe in
said state and county, and containing three acres more or less and being
bounded as follows; the same being the southern one-half of Blocks
249-256-263, and having the following particular descriptions, to wit;
commencing from the south-west corner of 9th street adjoining U.S.G. line
and running east to Turtle River or to low water mark, thence north 550,
feet more or less to division line or land formerly owned by Mrs. Emma
C. Littlefield; thence west to 9th street, 650 feet, more or less,
thence south to U.S.G. line 528 feet, said tract being known as the
"Homestead tract" and being bounded by naval city on west, by northern
half of same blocks 249-256-263 on the north and by Turtle river, on the
east and U.S.G. line on the south, should the owners of naval city lots at
any time demand the opening of 9th street, the same shall and will be
complied with by the present or any other owners of this land.
Together with all and singular the rights,
improvements, houses, dwellings, privileges and appurtenances thereunto
[sic] belonging, or in anywise appertaining.
To have and to hold the above described real property
unto the said party of the second party, his heirs and assigns, forever in
fee simple.
And the said party of the first part will forever
warrant and defend the title of the said property unto the said party of
the second part, his heirs and assigns, against the claims of all persons
claiming the same, through or under them, and against the claims of all
persons, claiming or attempting to claim the same.
In witness whereof the said party of the first part
have hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first
above written.

This Indenture, made and entered into on this the
eleventh day of January A.D. One thousand nine hundred and five (1905) by
and between D.H. Devereaux, of the County and sate aforesaid, as
party of the first part and A.R. Berrie, of the same place, as
party of the second part;
Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for
and in consideration of the sum of six hundred and fifty dollars ($650.00)
to him cash in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these
presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hat granted,
bargained, sol, aliened and conveyed and doth by these presents, grant,
bargain, sell, alien and convey unto the party of the second party his
heirs and assigns, all of that certain tract, lot or parcel of land,
situate, lying and being in the county of Glynn and state of Georgia, and
on Blythe Island in said county, and on that portion of said Blythe Island
known as Naval city, is bounded on the south by the lands of the United
States Government; on the east by the Turtle River; on the north by the
division line of said Naval city, tract, and the tract of land formerly
owned by Holley Kennard and others, the land intended to be
conveyed is particularly designated upon the plat and plan of said Naval
city purporting to be made by E.A. Penniman, Civil engineer, and on
the eleventh day of January 1905, filed in the office of the Clerk of the
superior court of Glynn county, Georgia to be kept of file among the
general records of said county, and which said plat and plan is generally
recognized as the true and authorized map of said naval city, and which
said plat and plan so filed as aforesaid is hereby declared a part hereof
for all purposes of description, and said land is so described on said
plat and plan as the northern one-halves (1/2) of blocks numbers two
hundred and forty nine (249), two hundred and fifty six (256), and two
hundred and sixty three (263), said halves of said blocks are bounded as
follows, to say; on the north by Broadway street; on the east by Low water
mark of Turtle river; on the west by ninth street; and on the south by the
southern one-halves of said blocks, the said property so conveyed is now
enclosed by a wire fence on all sides, except on the river side and is now
in the actual possession of the party of the first part.
To have and to hold the said bargained and described
premises, together with all and singular the rights, members and
appurtenances to the same belonging, or in anywise appertaining unto the
said party of the second part his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple.
And the right and title thereof unto the said party of
the second part, his heirs and assigns, the said party of the first part,
his executors and administrators, will warrant and forever defend, as
against the claims and demands of any and all persons whomsoever.
In testimony of all of which the said party of the
first part has hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal and delivered
these presents on this the day and year first hereinabove written.
