Physician's & Druggist's Licenses
TERMS USED IN THIS SECTION ARE NOT MEANT IN ANY WAY TO BE HURTFUL OR HARMFUL TO ANY PERSONS. READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.
Due to the complexity of this book, I have decided to upload each individual license as written in the book. The licenses did not follow any particular form, and to type them up, became a problem, due to illegible writing. Therefore I will leave it up to you, the researcher, to decipher the writing on your ancestor's license. This book is located in the Probate Court at the Glynn County Courthouse. These are actual scanned images of the book. I have included each page that had writing contained on it, except for one. Page 14 had this simple entry: "Monday, August 30th 1869, Mr. & Mrs. Colnell come." The first several pages were used as an accounting between a Dr. Rowe and various people. These images are located at the bottom of this page. The following pages were blank: 4, 5, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, 24, 25, 66-115, 117, 118, 119, 122, 129 [end page]. Pages 123, 124, 125, and 126 were missing all together. Recorded in this book are licenses to be physicians, apothecaries, druggists, and embalmers. |
