According to William Crawford's will, his siblings were to inherit each, 1/3 of his estate, real and personal. Dr. John Crawford, Barbara Crawford of Scotland, and Betty Crawford "who may have married W. Nichol" Some of the enslaved were bracketed together, suggesting a husband & wife, or family unit. I placed a bracket behind each person's name that was bracketed, and placed underlines to separate them. The lines do NOT suggest family units, only the bracketed names. |
