There has been much dispute over how many Robert Farmers actually served in Company B of the 27th GA CSA; the common perception is that there was only one. However, Mr. James Gray of Australia seems to think there were two both enlisted on the same day, in the same county, under the same commander, but in different cities. And since there were two different cities listed on the military papers of Robert L. Farmer, Mr. Gray believes that this means there were two different men.
Therefore, I have created a timeline for the Robert Farmers in question.
