Glynn County } This Indenture made
this the third day of October in the year Eighteen hundred and Eighty three
between Jacob L. Beach Sheriff of said County of the first part and
Mrs. M.A.E. Todd of County Said State of the second part: Witnesseth
that whereas the said Jacob L. Beach Sheriff as aforesaid did on the 18th
day of June 1882 levy upon and afterwards expose to sale a certain tract of land
hereinafter more fully described before the Court house door in said County
between the legal hours of sale and after advertising the same according to law
in the Advertiser & Appeal the paper in said County in which Sheriff's
advertisements are published for the space of twenty eight (28) days thereafter
did sell the said lot of lots on the 1st Tuesday of this present month, said
land being levied on and sold as the property of Robt. Todd who died
subsequent to the issuing of the execution so levied and hereinafter described
under and by virtue of an execution issued from the Superior Court of the County
of Whitfield Georgia in favor of A.C. Flanders against said Robt. Todd
and the said Mrs. M.A.E. Todd having been the highest bidder for a one
half undivided interest in the same, and it being knocked off to her as the
purchaser at the sum hereinafter named now the said Jacob L. Beach
Sheriff as aforesaid in consideration of the premises[?] and the sum of Seven
Hundred & Fifty Dollars, to him in hand paid at and before the signing and
delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has
granted, bargained, sold aliened
and conveyed and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien and convey unto the said Mrs. M.A.E. Todd her heirs and assigns, an undivided one half of said tract of land lying in the 27th District G.M. and in the said County and State and known in said District as a tract of land bounded as follows--on the North by the Williams Survey, on the East by lands of H.N. Harrison & McDonald, on the South by lands of the estate of J.M. Tison Sr. deceased, and on the West by lands of H.N. Harrison, said tract of land containing Three thousand acres more or less and the whole of said tract of land sold at said sale but Mrs. M.A.E. Todd only a bidder for a one half undivided interest therein & this deed only intended to convey to Mrs. M.A.E. Todd a one half undivided interest therein about 200 acres of said land supposed to lie in Wayne County Georgia. To have and to hold the said undivided one half interest in said land to the said Mrs. M.A.E. Todd her heirs and assigns in as full and ample a manner as the said Robt. Todd or his heirs did hold the same or might of done. In testimony whereof the said Sheriff has hereto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.

and Mrs. E.L. Flanders[?] of Upson County said State of the second part:
Witnesseth that whereas the said Jacob L. Beach Sheriff as aforesaid did
on the 18th of June 1882, levy upon and afterwards expose to sale a certain
tract of land hereinafter more fully described, before the Court house door in
said County, between the legal hours of sale and after advertising the same
according to law in the Advertiser & Appeal the paper in said County in which
Sheriff's advertisements are published for the space of twenty eight (28) days
thereafter did sell the said lot or lots on the first Tuesday of this present
month, said land being levied on and sold as the property of Robert Todd
who died subsequent to the issuing of the execution so levied on and hereinafter
under and by virtue of an execution issued from the Superior Court of the County
of Whitfield Georgia in favor of A.C. Flanders against said Robert
Todd and the said Mrs. E.L. Flanders[?] having been the highest
bidder for a one third undivided interest in the same and it being knocked off
to her as the purchaser at the sum hereinafter named: Now the said
Jacob L. Beach Sheriff as aforesaid in consideration of the premises and the
sum of Five Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid, at and before the signing and
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
has granted, bargained, sold, aliened and conveyed and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien and convey unto the said Mrs. E.L. Flanders[?] her heirs and assigns an undivided one third of said tract of land lying in the 27th Dist. G.M. and in said County and State, and known in said District as a tract of land bounded as follows--on the North by the Williams survey, on the East by lands of H.N. Harrison & McDonald, on the South by lands of the estate of J.M. Tison Sr. deceased and on the West by lands of H.N. Harrison said tract of land containing Three thousand acres more or less, and the whole of said tract of land sold at said sale but Mrs. E.L. Flanders[?] only bidden for a one third undivided interest therein and this deed only intended to convey to said Mrs. E.L. Flanders an undivided one third interest in said land about 200 acres of said land supposed to be in Wayne County Ga. To have and to hold the said undivided one third interest in said land to the said Mrs. E.L. Flanders her heirs and assigns in as full and ample a manner as the said Robert Todd or his heirs did hold the same or might have done. In testimony whereof the said Sheriff has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.

part, and Goodyear & Kay a firm comprised of C.P. Goodyear &
W.E. Kay of said County of the second part: Witnesseth, that whereas
the said Jacob L. Beach Sheriff as aforesaid did on the 18th day of June
1882 levy upon and afterwards expose to sale a certain tract of land hereinafter
more fully described before the Court house door in said County between the
legal hours of sale and after advertising the same according to law in the
Advertiser & Appeal the paper in said County in which Sheriff's advertisements

G.M. and in the said County and State and known in said District as a tract of land bounded as follows--On the North by the Williams survey. On the East by lands of H.N. Harrison & McDonald. On the South by lands of the estate of J.M. Tison Sr. deceased and on the West by lands of H.N. Harrison, said tract of land containing three thousand acres more or less and the whole of said tract of land sold at said sale, but Goodyear & Kay only bidden for a one Sixth interest therein & this deed intended to convey to said firm an undivided one sixth interest in said land. To have and to hold the said undivided one sixth interest in said lands
about 200 acres of said land supposed to lie in Wayne County Ga. to the said Goodyear & Kay this & each of their heirs and assigns in as full and ample a manner as the said Robert Todd or his heirs did hold the same or might of done. In testimony whereof the said Sheriff has hereto set his hand and seal the day and year above written.

City of Brunswick } To Jas. E. Lambright Marshall
of the City of Brunswick. I command you that of the goods and chattles
[sic], if any to be found otherwise of the lands and tenements claimed by
A.C. Kersey & as trustee (within the corporate limits of the City of
Brunswick) you cause to be made the sum of Six Hundred & 80/100 Dollars the
amount of tax due the Mayor and Council of the City of Brunswick by said A.C.
Kersey & as Trustee for the year Eighteen Hundred and Eighty two by reason
of non-payment of the Tax of the said A.C. Kersey & as trustee as
aforesaid for the year aforesaid: and also the sum of 50/100 Dollars the
costs and charges incurred by the said A.C. Kersey & as Trustee in
consequence of the non-payment of the tax aforesaid whereof the said A.C.
Kersey & as Trustee is convicted and liable:
