Erected 26 April 1902, a tribute of love from the Ladies Memorial Association of Brunswick, Georgia, to the heroes of the Confederacy, 1861 to 1865.

In honor of the Confederate soldiers who died to repel unconstitutional invasion
to protect the rights reserved to the people to perpetuate forever
the sovereignty of the states

Gather the sacred dust of warriors tried and true,
who bore the flag of our nations trust,
and fell in the cause, though lost, still just;
and died for you and me.

This is the Confederate Memorial located at Hanover Square in downtown Brunswick, Glynn, Georgia. It was the only "military" monument dedicated to the Civil War erected in Glynn County. However, if you read the inscription, you will notice that this is more for the lost government than it is for the lost soldiers.

A new memorial site was created for all veterans, and the markers memorializing those lost in later wars (WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, etc.) have been moved to this park from the courthouse.

I do not know if this new park memorializes those lost during the Civil War as I have yet to visit the park.
